Artist Nicole Durocher - March Figurative Painting Workshop
Artist Nicole Durocher is a painter and designer currently based in Vancouver. Nicole's inspirations come from fashion editorials, new wave films, and religious iconography. She has an undergrad in religious studies and became inspired by spirituality and color to communicate mood and healing.
Nicole's 90-minute workshop Introduces you to basic acrylic painting techniques while she guides you through creating your very own figurative dreamscape created with mood-boosting colors.
Assembly's featured monthly artist workshops are packed full of unique talent and a multitude of styles. Each artist will share the technique, process, and inspiration that drives them to create while guiding you through a project.
You can purchase one workshop or a bundle of 3 workshops of your choice and save. We can't wait to paint with you!
Ahead of the workshop: collect a few items from around your house that you find meaningful, romantic, or beautiful. It can be clothing, dishes, books, bottles of perfume, jewelry, plants, shoes. The sky's the limit. This method for creating scenes is a great starting point to inspire your work.
