Artist Kate Wyatt - January Abstract Landscape Watercolor Workshop
We are thrilled to have Kate Wyatt as our first featured artist of the year! The name Kate's White Paper illustrates the openness of creativity. Kate says, "I never know what I'll be putting down on that (usually) white paper, as I love to experiment with new ideas and mediums."
Kate's 90-minute workshop introduces you to basic watercolor techniques while Kate guides you through creating your very own abstract landscape.
Her abstract landscapes started by using palette knives to lay down leftover paint on white scraps of paper to use up any waste. They evolved into more sophisticated combinations of color, emerging as abstract representations of some of her favorite memories exploring the mountains.
Assembly's featured monthly artist workshops are packed full of unique talent and a multitude of styles. Each artist will share the technique, process, and inspiration that drives them to create while guiding you through a project.
You can purchase one workshop or a bundle of 3 workshops of your choice and save. We can't wait to paint with you.
